Preview bit.ly Links in Tweetdeck
For Twitter users interested in how your bit.ly links are performing, Tweetdeck has an option that lets you preview bit.ly links right in Tweetdeck. Similar to the bit.ly Firefox Preview Plugin, this setting shows you data about where the link is pointing to, as well as click totals and a link to the bit.ly Info+ page.
Here’s how to enable it:
Check the “Show preview information…” option in Settings.
From Tweetdeck, you can click on any bit.ly link (and many other shortened links) to get data on the long link, metrics, and for bit.ly, the Info+ page. Just make sure you’ve got Tweetdeck version .25 or higher to see this feature.
